On Saturday March 17 Hobbyland had a few tables at the WMAA swap meet at the Northland Performing Arts Center. As a major sponsor we gave away an E-flite P-51 and Western Michigan Park Flyer as well as several smaller door prizes. Throughout the day many old friends stopped by the booth as well as several new ones.
I did manage to get a few shots of some of the static display models at the show.
Good showing of Model rockets from the CSAR club.
A few fighting ships. These have small BB guns and pumps on board and are designed to sink and be easily repaired to battle again!
Carl Handley's giant Sopwith Pup
Nice looking Hughes 500. It had lights and check out the old school heli radio!
This Knight Twister took home a prize.
Control Line display
As well as some classic freeflight planes
Beautiful classic pattern plane the Taurus! I remember watching these fly back in the 70's!
I think these were house of balsa kits in sport scale.
A few R/C trucks. I once knew a guy with a Toyota like the one on the left. Same primer and everything! Lol!
Looking forward to spring so we can see all of these outside and in their element!
